How are you protecting clients and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic?

What we will do:

Our staff will practice the following protocols in accordance with state & government regulations:

 

Masks to be worn by all staff

Our clinic team members will continue to wear a face covering, even if fully vaccinated.

 

Frequent deep cleaning

Our staff will wipe down high touch surfaces frequently and iPads, treatment beds, lasers, and products touched/used after each use. 

 

What we need you to do:

We need your help following the below protocols for the safety of our staff and clients:

 

Face Coverings

Skin Laundry will follow CDC recommendations, local health department, and/or government regulations in regards to requiring our clients to wear a face covering while inside the clinic. Effective, 8/3/2021, California & New York clinics will require clients to wear a mask while inside the clinic, regardless of vaccination status. If you’d like a mask, any of our clinic team members can provide you with a brand new one.

 

You will be briefly screened for COVID-19 symptoms upon entering the clinic

Our team will ask you if you have any symptoms when you enter the clinic and have you review our consent form. Should you show any signs of sickness you will be asked to reschedule your appointment online. 

 

Hand sanitizer will be available upon entering the clinic

 

Please stay home if:

You have been in contact with COVID-19 positive individual in past 3 weeks.

You are under local quarantine orders as defined by local government.

You have any COVID-19 related symptoms.

What can I expect during my first facial?

How often should I get a laser facial?

Just like doing laundry, we believe in establishing a routine to maintain clean, bright, healthy skin. Our skincare experts will create a customized treatment plan to determine how often you should come in to help achieve your personal skin goals. For maintaining healthy, glowing skin we recommend signing up for our Laundry Club memberships designed to help you reach your skin goals.

We offer various Laser facials each designed to target specific skin concerns. Learn more about our facials here.

Who performs the facials?

All Skin Laundry clinics are staffed with licensed healthcare professionals highly trained and overseen by our extensive team of qualified medical professionals including multiple board-certified dermatologists. Each and every Registered Nurse and Laser Specialist receive rigorous and ongoing training on Skin Laundry protocols.

Can I receive laser facials during pregnancy and/or while I am nursing?

Yes! Our Laser facials are safe to do during pregnancy and/or nursing. Please be sure to indicate on your medical intake form or let our medical professionals know if you are pregnant and/or nursing so that they can customize your treatment plan accordingly. Our Glow Peel enhancement and Vitamin A serums are not permitted if expecting and/or nursing.

Who cannot receive a laser facial?

How much is a laser facial?

Our goal is to make our laser facials as affordable as possible while delivering the highest level of care and results. Our Laundry Club memberships are designed to help you reach your skin goals and maintain them. Learn more here.

Do you treat minors?

Yes, we do offer treatments to minors who are at least 13 years of age. We do require that a parent or legal guardian book on their behalf. Valid photo ID is required for both parent/legal guardian and minor. Student ID + Birth Certificate or any government issued ID are valid proof of ID for minors.

Policies

What is your late/cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you give us 12 hours notice or a $25 fee will be charged. If you arrive late, we’ll simply reduce your treatment time accordingly to avoid cutting the next client’s appointment short. However, if you are more than 5 minutes late you’ll be charged a $25 cancellation fee and will need to make a new appointment.

What is your return policy?

Retail unused in their original packaging purchased at any Skin Laundry clinic or our online store (www.skinlaundry.com) may be returned for a full refund of original payment within 30 days with an original receipt. Unfortunately, Skin Laundry products purchased from other retailers are subject to the return policies of those retailers and will not be accepted by Skin Laundry. Please contact the retailer you purchased the product from if you need to make a return.

Please note that Skin Laundry gift cards may not be returned and should be treated like cash. They cannot be replaced if lost or stolen, but they never expire. They cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by law.

We practice a strict no refund policy on facials, bundles, and membership dues.

Why is a password required now for booking appointments?

We’ve updated our booking system so you can now manage your account, see your benefits online and many more exciting things to come! Please create an account to get you glowing!

Why do you require a credit card to book?

We require a credit card to guarantee your appointment however, your credit card will not be charged unless you fail to cancel more than 12 hours prior to the start of your appointment or are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment.

How can I pay for services?

Our clinics have gone cashless for services and products. We accept all major cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and Skin Laundry gift cards. We do not accept checks. You can purchase Skin Laundry gift cards online or at any of our clinics. In addition to the above, our NY clinics can accept cash but in order to help keep our staff and clients safe we’d prefer to be cashless.

Can I bring my children and/or pets to my treatment?

In order to provide excellent and safe customer service we have Supervision Policy in place that we kindly ask all of our clients to adhere to. We have implemented this policy in order to maintain a welcoming and comfortable experience for everyone.  




While we’d love provide supervision for children and/or pets, we cannot guarantee that our clinic team members would have the ability to do so. More importantly, we cannot be held responsible for our client’s children and/or pets. 



*We cannot allow a child or pet in the treatment room due to eye safety. This policy applies to service animals as well.

Do I need a translator?

For our clients that cannot speak English fluently, we do require a translator present at every visit.  The translator must be old enough to translate and relay all information. The translator can be a Skin Laundry employee as long as that employee is willing and comfortable translating, however, we cannot guarantee that our employees will be available and willing to translate every visit.

Membership

What type of memberships do you offer?

We offer three different levels of memberships each designed to help you reach your skin goals. Learn more here. During your first visit our team of skin experts will create a customized treatment plan with recommendation of which membership would best suit you.

Can I cancel or freeze my membership?

To cancel your membership, you must call or visit your local Skin Laundry clinic. Requests must be made 7 days in advance of the next billing date. Upon cancellation, you will immediately forfeit any remaining treatments or other benefits. You will not be refunded for any unused benefits. 

How do I update my credit card information that is linked to my membership?

Please reach out to the clinic where your membership was signed up to update your payment information.
