Our Resurfacing Facial uses fractional technology to improve skin texture, stimulate the production of collagen, increase skin cell turnover, and create microchannels that enable greater absorption of products, like serums, resulting in brighter, firmer, smoother and healthier skin. Safe for all skin tones, the benefits of the Resurfacing Facial are both immediate and cumulative.

Mild redness may occur on some skin types for up to 24 hours.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Before your first appointment, you and your Skin Laundry expert will discuss your skin concerns, the treatment, its benefits, and your skin goals.
- We’ll take a photo (which will remain private) to help track your skin journey at Skin Laundry.
- After a cleanse, your Skin Laundry expert will begin the Resurfacing treatment followed by an application of a customized medical-grade serum for your skin concerns.
AFTERCARE
- Reapply your Hyaluronic Acid medical-grade serum to the treated area every hour for 6 hours following your treatment
- 6 hours after treatment, apply a gentle emollient ointment, such as Aquaphor, to soothe any sensitivity, dryness, or flakiness if necessary
- Hold off on cleansing for 24 hours following your treatment
- Avoid heat exposure, ie hot showers, saunas or steam rooms and exercise, for 72 hours following your treatment
- For best results, avoid applying sunscreen and makeup for 72 hours following your treatment
- For best results, avoid active ingredients such as vitamin C, AHAs and retinoids, and physical exfoliation for one week following your treatment. Do not pick or scrub the skin
- Avoid direct sun exposure for 1 week following your treatment

Treatment FAQ
Our Signature Laser Facial is our universal first-time treatment. Afterwards, your Skin Laundry Registered Nurse or Laser Specialist will assess your skin's response to your first Skin Laundry facial, review your skin concerns and design a customized treatment plan to help you achieve your skin goals going forward.
Just like your laundry, we believe in establishing a cycle based on your individual skin concerns. Our experts will create a treatment plan and advise on how often you should come in to help achieve your personal skin goals. To maintain healthy, glowing skin we recommend signing up for one of our Laundry Club memberships.

Downtime is a term that refers to the time needed to recover from a procedure. Our treatments have no downtime but may involve some social downtime. Social downtime does not require making any major changes to your day-to-day activities, however you may prefer to avoid social settings during this time for cosmetic reasons (such as redness or swelling).
