The Skin Laundry Resurfacing and Power Duo Facials use nanofractional radio frequency (RF) technology, which rapidly transfers heat to the skin, stimulating the production of collagen and creating microchannels that enable greater absorption of products.

What is a Resurfacing Facial?

Our Resurfacing and Power Duo Facials use a nanofractional RF resurfacing device that delivers the same benefits as CO₂ lasers, microneedling and chemical peels with less downtime while also being safe and effective for all skin types. These facials target everything from hyperpigmentation to fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin texture, pore size and acne scars in one 15 or 30-minute treatment. The result? Visibly, fresher, smoother and firmer skin.

How does resurfacing technology work?

Nanofractional RF technology delivers heat through the skin's surface to the deeper layers using tiny pins. What to expect before, during and after a Resurfacing Facial

We advise avoiding products with active ingredients such as vitamin A, AHA and retinol for two days before your treatment and to arrive with clean skin free of makeup and sunscreen. Before your treatment, we will also cleanse the skin with a micellar cleansing cloth.

During the treatment, you will feel tiny pins on your skin followed by a little zap. Your skin will then feel warm, like a sunburn.

The treatment may be slightly uncomfortable, but not painful. You will feel a mild heat, similar to the feeling of a sunburn. Your skin will appear red right after the treatment, and you may experience redness and mild swelling for up to 72 hours.

Microcrusting may occur as part of the natural healing process. Do not rub, pick or scrub the skin.

Swelling may occur as part of the natural healing process. You can take oral antihistamines before your treatment as a preventative measure or apply a 1% hydrocortisone topical cream 72 hours after your treatment if desired.

After one treatment you can expect skin to feel tighter and look brighter.

After 10 days, skin will be visibly fresher-looking, smoother and the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pigmentation will be reduced.

After four weeks, you will see a noticeable improvement in the texture, tone and the elasticity of the skin.

What is the aftercare protocol for a Resurfacing Facial?

Immediately following the treatment, your Skin Laundry provider will apply our Hyaluronic Acid Serum to provide a boost of hydration to the skin.

You should continue to reapply Skin Laundry Hyaluronic Acid Serum regularly to the treated area following your treatment.

Continue your daily skincare routine using a gentle cleanser free of any active ingredients, Skin Laundry Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Hydrating Facial Sheet Mask for the next 72 hours.

Avoid heat exposure, i.e. hot showers, saunas or steam rooms and exercise, for 72 hours following your treatment

For best results, avoid applying sunscreen and makeup for 72 hours following your treatment and avoid active ingredients, such as vitamin C, AHAs and retinoids, and physical exfoliation for one week following your treatment.

Do not rub, pick or scrub the skin.
