The Power Duo Facial combines two different types of state-of-the-art skincare technologies to treat multiple skin concerns in the epidermis and deeper layers of the skin.

What is the Power Duo Facial?

Our most powerful service, the Power Duo Facial combines the Power Signature Facial with our Power Resurfacing Facial plus additional targeted Resurfacing spot treatments. This combination treatment targets both the surface and deeper layers of the skin and all skin concerns—ranging from dullness to fine lines and wrinkles and congestion—in one 30-minute session.

The Power Signature Facial delivers more than two times the energy below the skin’s surface to precisely and painlessly correct and prevent breakouts, calm redness and rosacea, break up hyperpigmentation and stimulate collagen production for clearer, firmer and healthier skin more rapidly, along with added passes that can increase the treatment strength by up to 50 percent.

Our Power Resurfacing Facial, delivers almost three times the energy of our standard Resurfacing treatment plus targeted spot treatments, to improve skin texture, stimulate the production of collagen, increase skin cell turnover, and create microchannels that enable greater absorption of products, like serums, resulting in brighter, firmer, smoother and healthier skin.

What is a Combination Treatment?

For those looking to treat multiple skin concerns in the epidermis and deeper layers of the skin with one full-face treatment, the Power Duo Facial combines two different types of state-of-the-art skincare technologies.

Laser technology uses a focused beam of light that has been amplified to target the deeper layers of the skin, the dermal layer. When this light is directed at the skin, it is absorbed by chromophores—molecules within the skin that absorb light—and converted into heat. This heat is what helps to treat skin issues, whether it's targeting pigmentation, reducing redness, or stimulating collagen production.

Nanofractional RF technology delivers heat through the skin's surface to the deeper layers using tiny pins. The body’s natural healing mechanism then works to repair these minuscule wounds by increasing the production of fibroblasts. In turn, this increases collagen and elastin production and improves signs of damage visible on the skin’s surface.

By combining these two technologies, the Power Duo Facial treats both the dermal and epidermal layers of skin.

What to Expect Before, During and After a Power Duo Facial

Because a Power Duo Facial is a stronger treatment, this service can only be performed once a month to allow the skin to fully recover between treatments. We also advise avoiding products with active ingredients such as vitamin A, AHA and retinol for two days before your treatment.

The treatment may be slightly uncomfortable, but not painful. During the treatment, you will feel tiny pins on your skin followed by a little zap. Your skin will then feel warm, like a sunburn.

Mild redness may occur on some skin types for up to 72 hours and you may experience micro-crusting post-treatment – this is part of the natural healing process. Allow it to slough off naturally and do not pick at or scrub the skin.

What Is the Aftercare Protocol for a Power Duo Facial?

Immediately following the treatment, your Skin Laundry provider will apply our Hyaluronic Acid Serum to flood the skin with hydration. To boost your results, you should continue to reapply Skin Laundry Hyaluronic Acid Serum regularly to the treated area following your facial.

Continue your daily skincare routine at home using a gentle cleanser free of any active ingredients, Skin Laundry Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Hydrating Facial Sheet Mask for the next 72 hours.

Avoid heat exposure, such as hot showers, saunas or steam rooms, and vigorous exercise, for 72 hours following your treatment

For best results, avoid applying sunscreen and makeup for 72 hours following your treatment and avoid active ingredients, such as vitamin C, AHAs and retinoids, and physical exfoliation for one week following your treatment.
